De Human Eyes Optometrist is a project aimed at improving eye health and vision care in underserved communities. The project recognizes the importance of vision in overall well-being and aims to provide accessible and affordable optometry services to individuals who in needs. We cover all aspects of eye health and vision using clinical based technology and a warm friendly personal approach. We provide full set eye checking including retinal examination, cataract, eye pressure, dry eye, lazy eye and etc with the professional machine. In addition, we provide FREE eye checking for all of the customer to reduce their financial burden in order to have a good vision. With the vision of “MAKING SURE YOUR VISIONS IS OK!”, we strive to ensure that all people have a healthy eye. In order to increase awareness on optometry among the public, we creating informative and educational videos sharing through social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok. Besides, De Human cooperate with school such as Penang Chung Hwa Confusion Schools Alumni Association to provide eye care education talk for Penang students and parents via Zoom call. De Human Eyes also offered free clinical level eye screening and spectacles through charity program and non-profit charitable organization such as program ‘Now I Can See’ by HOPE worldwide Malaysia, ‘BETTER VISION FOR FUTURE HOPE’ collaborate with JCI Perai and OCBC Bank Berhad, visit to St Nicholas’ Home Penang and provide free eye check. We also collaborate with Lions Club Penang Bayan Baru in the Danok charity to provide those underprivileged students and adults. Through the project, we also have provided free spectacles for those B40 groups. We also have delivered meals for those homeless that gathered at the Georgetown area every week continuously.
Project Results / Impact on Stakeholder
Zoom call – provide education call to students, parents, and public.
Almost 300++ students and publics join the call, including different races which have Indian, Chinese and Malay.
SRJK(C)Li Tek school – provide free clinical level eye screening and spectacles for student.
Almost 525 students have free clinical level eye screening and 50++ students received free spectacles.
Flextronics Factory – provide free clinical level eye screening for workers and explain about their eye conditions.
Around 500++ workers are joining in the activities and they also have a look on their eye situations.
Penang Care Center Association, Medical Center and HOPE Malaysia Program – provide free clinical level eye screening and glasses
– Among 120++ people received free glasses.
Cross over with Lions Club giving talk on Eye Health and attend Danok charity – provide free glasses to those needed or B40 group.
-Giving around 50++ free glasses to underprivileged student and adults.
Charity House and Penang Special Kids House – donate daily essential to improve the quality of life for underserved aging adults.
-Sponsor projector and water filter machine and provide food.
Georgetown area – donate free meals for homeless
As end of June 2023, we has donated 4,550 meals
