Persatuan Kebajikan Dan Amal Qi Li Xiang BM PP

The main object of Qilixiang< Education Fund for the Poor > is to support children from poor n needy families so as to continue their studies and be prepared for the competition with the society in future. The scope of the education aid covered school fees, bus fare, tuition fees, living expenditure and medical expenses. Those sponsored are children from single-parent families, patients, orphans, etc.

PROJECT RESULT

From year 2015 till this year, we allocated RM1.35 million to help 135 students from poor families to pursue their educations. The children benefited were 10 in year 2015, 20 in year 2016, 25 in year 2017, 30 in year 2018 and 50 this year.

WHAT IMPACT HAS THIS PROJECT CREATED IN THE COMMUNITY / NATION?

Regardless of races and religions, we are willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. This will help to create a community full of love, harmony and care among the multi races in this country.

HOW HAS THIS PROJECT HELP TO ADVANCE THE CHOSEN SDG?

Education is the basic condition to improve the living of a poor family; children from poor families should receive formal education so that they will not be marginalized from the society. Education and knowledge enable them to face mounting challenges, self- independent, so as to live a better life and be contribute to community , society and country.
