JCI Elite was established in 2011 in Georgetown, Penang. In June 2011, a group of energetic and ambitious young adults decided to establish a platform to learn and share, create business opportunities and networking, as well as to serve the community. JCI Elite aims to deliver their best by attracting members of various backgrounds and professions, to contribute their strength to create greater global impact for positive change!

Junior Chamber International (JCI) is a voluntary, worldwide personal development organization for young professionals and entrepreneurs in their twenties and thirties. The mission of JCI is to provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change.

Active participation in JCI provides members with the opportunities to:

Asia Youth Exchange Program


Asia Youth Exchange Program (AYEP) is specially designed to provide a platform for school children to learn and advocate HUMAN RIGHTS, GENDER EQUALITY, PEACE, GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP and appreciation of CULTURAL DIVERSITY in an inclusive environment.

AYEP is an informal education that allows local and foreign youth to acquire the knowledge, understanding and skills enabling them to EMBRACE THE DIFFERENCES in cultures and lifestyle ACROSS BORDERS and LEARN TO RESPECT each other..

This program consists of three major segments viz. (i) interaction and skills development camp, (ii) homestay, and (iii) school visitation. With the unique activities, JCI Elite has successfully built noteworthy collaboration with various stakeholders. The number of participants has increased significantly from 40 delegates to 130 delegates in 2017. Out of 130 delegates, 90 delegates are from various countries across Asia.

  1. Acceptance and active involvement of local community in supporting the AYEP and promotion of SD Goals through the participations of approximately 300 to 400 students with 50% increase rate every year since its inception in 2015. At least 20% of the participants requested to participate in the program again.
  2. Created GLOBAL UNDERSTANDING through CROSSCULTURALEXCHANGE. Participants learned and practiced CONSIDERATE UNDERSTANDING, inculcated appreciation of the DIFFERENCES and UNIQUENESS among each other and ACCEPTANCE of DIVERSITY OF NATIONS.
  3. ENHANCED PERSONAL GROWTH and BUILD INTERPERSONAL SKILLS as well as CULTIVATING POSITIVE
    VALUES and ATTITUDES through informal education among the members, participants and VOLUNTEERS to build andshape a better YOUNG GENERATION OF LEADERS and ACTIVE CITIZENS.
  4. Created better OPPORTUNITY AND AWARENESS OF JCI PRESENCE AND VALUES in the local community with the participation of over 50 to 100 families every year fromMalaysia and other countries in Asia.

  • In 2016 report shows that minorities and indigenous peoples are the one of the target set, we able to shed light on a particular group as there are 4 delegates which came from nearby Orphanages who joined AYEP.
  • The 4 delegates were GIVEN OPPORTUNITY to learn and embrace the culture of JCI MOVEMENT.
  • AYEP PROVIDE DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY that EMPOWER YOUNG PEOPLE CREATE POSITIVE CHANGE.
  • AYEP FOCUSED on UNSDG 16 and 17, as EDUCATION are the FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENT in creating SUSTAINABLE
    and LONG-TERM IMPACT.
  • We PROMOTE PEACEFUL and inclusive societies for SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT at all levels.
  • The provision of access to JUSTICE for all and ACCOUNTABLE INSTITUTIONS at all levels also the main
    aspects we need to PRESERVE.
